Frequently Asked

Your 1st class is always on us. To sign-up for your 1st class, please Book a Free Class. After your 1st class, you must sign-up for a membership or drop-in session to book a class. Click here to sign-up for a package and follow the instructions. You can also sign-up through the Platinum Pilates app.

We want you to come to class when it works for YOU, that’s why all Platinum Pilates classes are created to fit all fitness levels. Your instructor will provide modifications to level up or down, making every class a challenge for you from your 1st class to your 5000th class.

Fill out a request to book your free class then download the Platinum Pilates app to complete the waiver before your class.

We recommend wearing comfortable athletic clothes. Platinum Pilates requires grip socks to be worn in all classes, if you don’t have a pair, we have high quality grip socks available for purchase for $15 in the studio.

Your only requirement for class is grip socks, we also recommend bringing a water bottle; we have a water filling station so please feel free to bring a refillable water bottle. You can also bring a workout towel. Everything else will be provided.

We recommend arriving at least 5 minutes before class time to meet the instructor, receive a quick overview of the equipment, and share any injuries or concerns. If you arrive to your trial class late, for your safety, we will need to reschedule your session.

No worries, we have high quality grip socks available for purchase for $15 in the studio.

We have a refillable water station in the studio; you can also purchase a Fiji water bottle for $2.

Absolutely, whether you’re brand new to Pilates and would like some additional guidance before starting group class, or looking to take your practice up a notch, we are happy to offer private Pilates sessions customized for you. To request a private session, please complete the contact us form and we will get back to you shortly.

We welcome anyone 14 years and older to attend Platinum Pilates. If under 18, we require a parent or guardian to sign membership agreement and waiver.

If you are pregnant, get your doctor’s approval before beginning this or any other exercise program. If your doctor clears you, then yes, you can join us! We ask that you let the instructors know that you are pregnant before class so we can suggest modifications and variations to your workout. In addition, we highly recommend signing up for private sessions with one of our instructors, so they can give you hands-on attention and personal guidance for your fitness regimen as you progress along

We have individual storage bins at your reformer that you can store personal items. However, we ask that you do not bring valuable items- Platinum Pilates cannot be held liable for lost or stolen personal items.

We recommend arriving at least 5 minutes before class starts, but we understand that things happen. However, if you’re more than 5 minutes late, your spot maybe given to a standby member. No shows will result in a $25 fee.

You can cancel classes with the Platinum Pilates app or on the website. All you need to do to cancel a go to the schedule, if you’re signed for a class the button say “cancel” instead of “book.” Simply click on the “cancel” button to cancel to the class. You can also cancel classes under the “attendance” tab on the app/website.

Please note that we have a late cancel and no-show policy- if you cancel within 12 hours of your scheduled class, there will be a $15 fee or if you’re a no-show there will be a $25 fee. If you need to cancel within the 12 hour cancellation window due to illness, please text us at 972-316-9220 and will cancel your class and waive the fee.

You must switch class times prior to 12 hours before the class to avoid a cancellation fee.

If a class that you would like to attend is full you can add yourself to the waitlist. When someone cancels the class, you will automatically be added to the class unless its within 2 hours of the class. You will receive an email informing you that you have been added to the class. If you’re on several waitlists you will need to monitor them closely to avoid incurring a cancellation fee within the 12 hour cancellation window.

For all memberships, except Platinum, you will need to make sure that you have not booked all your allocated classes for the month. The system will not automatically add your from the waitlist when spots open, if you do not have any remaining classes left in your membership.

No, the system is setup to auto-renew all of our monthly memberships. Your membership will renew on your bill date, at that time you will be able to book classes for your next month. You can find key account info such as your bill date, how many classes you have taken, booked, and are left on the app. Simply go to “Group Class Pricing” click on your membership then arrow over to see the details.

The system will not allow you to make future class bookings for 2 reasons. 1) You have already taken or booked your allocated classes for the month 2) You’re attempting to book classes past your bill date

Unfortunately, the system is only able to book classes past your bill date for Platinum memberships. For all other memberships, you will be able to book your classes for the next month on your bill date. Unfortunately, classes do not rollover to the next month. However, hopefully this will help you remember to make time to focus on YOU.

All of our memberships (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum) are re-occuring and will automatically bill on your bill date. To cancel your membership, 30 days notice is required. For the 3 and 6 month commitment membership if cancelled prior to contract being completed, there will be a $100 fee. Please email us at info@platinum-pilates.com if you would like to cancel your membership.

Yes, our 10 session package does not auto-bill each month. It has a 3 month expiration.
